Orange Runtz

There may be multiple strains that bear the name Orange Runtz. Top sources agree this sativa-dominant strain is a cross between the popular balanced hybrid Runtz and the sativa heavyweight African Orange, bred by Equilibrium Genetics in California. Surfr Seeds also produces a strain called Orange Runtz with similar lineage, crossing Runtz with Orange Zkittles. Both strains are sativa-dominant, and share a gassy, sour citrus scent and earthy herbal taste, thanks to prominent linalool and myrcene terpenes. Spade-shaped Orange Runtz buds tend to have large tufts of long orange hairs covering the flower, as well as a heavy dusting of opaque golden-white trichomes. Users say this strain behaves like a classic sativa when smoked, quickly elevating the mind into an energized, happy state where creative connections and comedy come naturally. A slow-burning body-high keeps you pleasantly locked in place as your mind floats into a cloudy orange sunset of bliss.
