An indica-dominant hybrid, Candy Cake is another strain with numerous origins — two of which trace back to Wedding Cake. Candy Cake by Jungle BoysThis Candy Cake is a cross between Zkittlez Cake and Jungle Cake created by California-based seed bank Jungle Boys. With a lineage that comes from Wedding Cake crosses, it's no surprise that this Candy Cake is a potent indica-dominant hybrid, with users reporting that it produces heavy highs and long-lasting effects. This strain has forest green, grape-shaped nugs accompanied by orange hairs and covered in a layer of frosty white trichomes. Candy Cake by Big Sky BeansBig Sky Beans' Candy Cake crosses Candy Store with Wedding Cake, resulting in a mostly indica hybrid that produces sweet cake and gassy notes. Dubbed a "beginner-level strain", this Candy Cake is best for novice cannabis users due to its lower THC content. Candy Cake by Coool BeansA cross between Runtz and Gelato Cake, this Candy Cake is bred by Coool Beans — yes, with three "o"s — and is of an unknown variety. Creamy and candy-like notes can be detected when smoking this strain, making for a fruity dessert-like taste and aroma.
