Red VelvetRed Velvet is a balanced hybrid from Grandiflora Genetics in Oakland, California, and marketed and sold by Cookies. Some sources say it's a cross of Lemon Cherry Gelato and Pina Acai, others believe it's a cross of Orange Velvet and Redrum. The top reported aromas of Red Velvet are cinnamon, apple, and herbs. Red Velvet CakeNext, Red Velvet Cake describes a cannabis strain with parents Red Velvet x Ice Cream Cake, giving it the luxurious chocolatey, creamy, slightly cheesy flavor profile reminiscent of the confection itself. The heavily indica-leaning Ice Cream Cake parentage creates Red Velvet Cake's indica lean, however, the uplifting, sativa-dominant Red Velvet side offers its own balancing effects, taking the sleepy edge out of the buds and giving them a reportedly uplifting and happy experience that also provides a great body high and aches and pains relief. Red Velvet Cake nugs are predominantly purple, but have an even speckling of light, bright green. They tend to have a noticeably thick coating of rusty-orange hairs and an even thicker layer of sparkly trichomes. Known to be high in THC, Red Velvet Cake flower often tests in the high twenties to mid-thirties, making it a strain best reserved for experienced cannabis consumers looking to complement their head stash. Red Velvet Pie — CanadaThere's also a Red Velvet Pie in Canada from TKO Reserve, which is a balanced hybrid cross of Cherry Pie x Burmese Thai. London Velvet CakeLastly, London Velvet Cake describes a cross of Pink Champagne x Sour Apple Runtz, a hybrid from Conscious Genetics.
